2. Browsing this website
This site uses no cookies, whether first-party or third-party, and no analytics, advertising, profiling or tracking tools. It also loads no fonts, scripts or resources from third-party servers — every file is served from the site itself. For that reason no consent banner is displayed.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service provided by GitHub, Inc. (Microsoft Corporation). As is standard for any web server, the hosting provider may automatically log technical connection data — IP address, date and time, browser type and page requested — solely in order to deliver the service and keep it secure. Make Algo, S.L. does not access those logs and does not use them for profiling. See the GitHub privacy statement.
3. What data we process and why
The only processing of personal data originating from this site is that arising from email correspondence to the published address.
| Data processed | Name, email address and any other data the individual chooses to include in their message. |
|---|---|
| Purpose | To respond to the enquiry received, maintain the resulting correspondence and, where applicable, prepare and manage a commercial or contractual relationship. |
| Legal basis | Legitimate interest in responding to enquiries received, and pre-contractual measures taken at the individual's request (art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b) GDPR). Where a contract exists, performance of that contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with accounting and tax obligations (art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). |
| Retention period | Enquiries that do not lead to a contractual relationship are kept while they are being handled and for no more than one year from the last contact. Data linked to a contractual relationship is kept for the duration of that relationship and thereafter for the applicable statutory limitation periods (generally six years for commercial matters and four years for tax matters under Spanish law). |
4. Recipients and international transfers
Personal data is not disclosed to third parties except where required by law. The corporate email service is provided by an email provider acting as a processor under article 28 GDPR.
Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Any such transfer is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or by the standard contractual clauses referred to in article 46 GDPR.
5. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making, by writing to hola@make-algo.com stating the right you wish to exercise. Proof of identity may be requested.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (C/ Jorge Juan, 6, 28001 Madrid) if you believe the processing does not comply with applicable law.
6. Mobile applications
Mobile applications developed or published by Make Algo, S.L. are governed by their own privacy policy, shown on each application's listing in the relevant store. This policy covers only the processing of data arising from this website.
7. Security
Make Algo, S.L. applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration, taking into account the state of the art and the nature of the data processed. The site is served entirely over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect regulatory changes or changes to the processing carried out. The version in force is always the one published on this page, together with its update date.
